Hungerhill School

Chris Wildey

I attended Hungerhill School between 1997-2001 and continued on to Danum School, where I studied for A-Levels in Biology, History, and Geography. In 2003 I studied at Doncaster College, where I achieved a 2:1 BA Hons degree in Business Management.

I started work for Howden's Joinery in May 2008. My first role was as a Buying Assistant, which involved providing general assistance to the purchasing team. In September 2009, I was given the role of Project Manager; for this role I had responsibility for ensuring projects were completed on time and to a high standard. In September 2012 I became a buyer for the company, where I was responsible for negotiating costs with suppliers and purchasing products.

I am due to start a new job with HSBC Bank in July 2014 as Commodity Specialist; this role will primarily consist of sourcing the lowest cost services available to HSBC, and negotiating contracts for these services.

My skills include using ICT, communication and negotiation, meeting deadlines, managing others in order to meet deadlines, and working with precision and accuracy.
