  • •    Day-to-day  running of the school in the absence of the Headteacher
    •    Ensure consistent and continuous focus on student achievement using data to track and monitor progress of every student’s learning
    •    Lead on Progress over Time meetings
    •    Oversee all aspects of teaching, learning and assessment ensuring research underpins debate about effective teaching and learning
    •    Work with Headteacher to develop a robust strategy to support the development of Teaching School/Research School
    •    Lead on assessing, analysing and interpreting information to reform planning for improvement 
    •    Support SLT to develop strategies for improvement, securing outstanding outcomes, advocating equality and overcoming disadvantage
    •    Assist in school’s self-evaluation process – focus on quality of outcomes, teaching and and learning
