Hungerhill School

Skiing Trip, Austria

The Hungerhill School PE department runs a very popular and successful ski trip, which takes place in the February half term holiday (exact departure date to be confirmed). The trip is open to all current Year 9 and 10 students (who will be in Years 10 and 11 at the time of travel).

Students and staff travel to the resort of St Johann in Tirol, Austria. They will stay at the Hotel Pension Lacknerhof in the village of St Johann, only 300 meters from the nearest ski lift. An excellent ‘full-board’ package is available as part of the price of the trip. Students will spend six days in Ski School for four hours a day, in a resort that offers a wide range of skiing for all levels of ability, from gentle green and blue runs for complete beginners, to challenging black runs for advanced skiers. Evening activities will also be available.

The details above, including destination, can change from year to year. For accurate information, always refer to the trip letters that are available from the school or via our 'letters to parents' section.
