Hungerhill School

William Crosby

I left Hungerhill in the summer of 2012, having gained fourteen A* grades. In September 2012, I started A-Levels at John Leggott sixth form college studying Further Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Whilst at John Leggott, I have been involved in many clubs and extracurricular activities, including 'Scary Physics' and the Chemistry club.

I have taken part in the Chemistry and Biology Olympiads, gaining high scores in both, and have been awarded the College Trophy for Most Promising Physicist.

In December 2013, I underwent several interviews for a place at Cambridge University, and I have been successful in gaining an offer to study a four-year Master's degree in Natural Science, specialising in Physics and Chemistry. At the end of the four years, I am hoping to continue my education to gain a doctorate and follow a career in scientific research.
