Hungerhill School

Hungerhill House System

With around 1,200 students at Hungerhill, the house system provides smaller communities within our school. Every student belongs to a house from Year 7 to Year 11, supported by dedicated staff House Leaders and student House Captains.

This system is built around our core values of Excellence, Care and Consideration, Resilience, Respect and Honesty. Through inter-house competitions, mentoring and leadership opportunities, students will live these values every day, developing confidence, teamwork and skills for life. Alongside this, it will support students in achieving some of the pledges, creating well-rounded students, ready for the wider world.

The Hungerhill House System will include regular competitions, leadership opportunities, mentoring across year groups and the chance to earn house points every day. At the end of the year the House Cup will be awarded to the house with the most points, celebrating achievement and teamwork across our school community.
