Due to the exceptionally high temperatures currently being experienced, Hungerhill School will close early at 1:10pm on Wednesday 24 June 2026 and will be fully closed on Thursday 25 June and Friday 26 June 2026.

Following a thorough risk assessment and the implementation of a range of measures to mitigate the impact of the heat, internal temperatures within several school buildings are forecast to reach levels that are not safe for sustained teaching and learning. The safety and wellbeing of our students and staff remain our highest priority.

We appreciate the inconvenience this may cause and thank parents and carers for their understanding and support during this period.
