Year 7 Teen Tech ‘City of Tomorrow’ Careers Event

On Friday 13th December, year 7 students will be participating in a full year group careers event presented by Teen Tech, ‘City of Tomorrow’. The Teen Tech City of Tomorrow event offers students the opportunity to apply their knowledge of science, technology and engineering to create their City of Tomorrow, where no ideas are too big and everything is smarter, kinder and safer than before. The activity highlights career pathways in construction, engineering and technology and promotes good citizenship. This event will help students to understand that opportunities are open to everyone regardless of gender or background and the exercise will help to bring the industries of construction, engineering and technology to life.

For this event we need students to collect recyclable materials, i.e. cardboard, plastic (but no glass) i.e. cereal boxes, egg boxes, straws, lolly sticks etc. These materials need to be brought into school and given to Form Tutors week commencing 9th December.
