Hungerhill’s Core Values Passport: Strive for 5!

Our initiative to enhance students’ engagement in the wider curriculum, The Hungerhill Strive for 5 Passport, was launched in September 2022 with Year 7 and 8. The overarching aim of our Passport is to help students become well-rounded individuals who make a positive contribution to the school and community they live in, leading to them building confidence and being better prepared for life beyond Hungerhill, through a focus on our core values.

Within the passport, we have listed activities linked to each of Hungerhill’s core values and assigned points to each of the activities. Throughout the year, we encourage students to get involved in as many opportunities as possible, whether that be in school or outside of school. Once students have completed an activity, they can record this in the relevant activity area of the passport and ask a member of staff to sign this activity off. As they build up points, they can reach reward levels where they gain certificates, badges and vouchers at the higher levels.

Our Strive for 5 Ambassadors have been working hard each lunch time to promote the Strive for 5 Core Values Passport after completing their booklets! If students have any questions about how to complete levels, or how to collect their certificates, badges and prizes, they can contact these students - look out for their purple badges. Replacement Strive for 5 Passports can be collected from Miss Elson, Associate Assistant Headteacher.
